With all of the medical information out there telling us that we need at least 30 minutes a day of physical exercise, it’s hard to figure out what to do. On one hand you want to do an exercise that is fun and not too difficult. Some classes at the gym make you feel like a klutz and too self conscious. Some days getting to the gym is impossible due to weather or a sick child at home.

Spinning is great for fitness as is road biking. Road biking will give you more variables to contend with while spinning provides a constant environment. When you are road biking you are encountering hills, wind resistance, bumps, and vibrations.

Whether or not to wear a bike jersey is a matter of personal taste. Sure, wearing a brightly colored, tight-fighting jersey can get you some strange looks from passers-by, but you there are important benefits to wearing a bike jersey. The polyester material used in most bike jerseys will wick moisture away from the skin, and those bright colors provide an important boost in visibility to drivers when biking on busy roads.
